Photo of an LTE-enabled Samsung droid, called SPH-L300 leaked along with some basic specifications. Its model number suggests that the handset is headed to Sprint in the US, but there's no info on a possible release date.
The design of the phone is quite interesting - the faux-metal border and embossed hardware keys look closer to what you would expect from HTC and not Samsung. The device measures 121.9 x 63.8 x 12.0 mm and its screen reportedly comes with WVGA resolution. A measurement based on the photo suggests a 4" screen diagonal.
The SPH-L300 is said to launch with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and will be powered by a Snapdragon S4 chipset (MSM8960) with a dual-core Krait CPU running at 1.5GHz. The RAM is pegged at 1GB and there will be 4GB of built in memory.
Other interesting specs include a 5MP main camera, a front-facing snapper, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
