News NTT DoCoMo formally announces Xperia GX and Xperia SX

Sony Mobile Japan announced the first details of the 4.6-inch Xperia GX and 3.7-inch Xperia GX last week, however there were a number of details missing. This morning NTT DoCoMo has revealed the full details on both handsets at its Summer launch event. Most of the details we exclusively broke last week including a glowing logo, removable battery and July launch for the Xperia GX and August launch for the Xperia SX.

The chipset to appear in both phones is confirmed as the 1.5GHz dual-core MSM 8960 Snapdragon S4 and both will also come with a microSD card slot. The full specs of the Xperia GX can be found here and the Xperia SX is here .
